I have subscribed to 8 RSS feeds on libraries and related topics and will see what I receive.

Week 5 Wisconsin Heritage Wiki is a good way of linking to other digital collections. Mint Museums Nth Carolina is a beautiful looking wiki and it's great to be able to view items archived in the collection. Montana History Wiki gives useful summaries of subject areas as a guide to research. I liked Book Lovers Wiki's future plan of adding reviews to catalogue entries making one less place to look.  

Sharing images

Being a visual person I love the idea of sharing images and enabling others to contibute images which relate to our local area. I found this one in flickr and it represented to me the old mileage to my town and the new journey with these technologies which we are embarking upon.

It will also be good to add images from our library activities and publish them to the web.

Beginning

I have now registered for State Library NSW 2.0 learning program and am looking forward to learning new technologies which can be used to enhance our library service and contact and attract new people who use these technologies. It will also be a way we can increase access to our collections and allow people to contribute and comment on our collection.
